FORCIMAT is a micro processor controlled specimen mover for all FORCIPOL grinding and polishing machines. It is ideal suitable for medium labs for to improve the repeatability of specimen quality and to increase the numbers of prepared specimens

In order to obtain a highly reflective surface that is free from scratches and deformation, the specimens must be carefully grinded and polished before they can be examined under the microscope. Metkon offers high quality instruments and consumables for achieving this goal.

FORCIPOL is a series of instruments available as Single wheel and dual wheel units (200 / 250 / 300 mm wheel size). Both, single or double wheel versions, are available with constant, dual or infinitely variable rotating speeds with digital display. This allows the setting of the optimum speed for each individual preparation process. When the number of specimens to be prepared will increase the FORCIPOL grinders can be fitted with automatic head FORCIMAT to automate the process. FORCIMAT automatic head provides high rate of sample preparation and frees the operator from the grinding and polishing procedures

In mostly all field of material test lab of industry, research and developing, education, universities a specimen preparation for hardness test or microscopy is more and more necessary. It does not matter if you like to have individual equipment in automated function or only a single grinder basic machine: The FORCIPOL – machine series will fulfil your requirements.

The system is especially suitable for quick changing system (magnetic or adhesive grinding and polishing fixing) for diamond grinding plates, grinding paper fixed on metal plates. The diamond grinding disc saves up to 50 % of the costs of the consumables (comparing with grinding papers)!
