IMPACT 150 / 300 / 450 / 600 / 750 Joule

The machines of the series IMPACT are designed for high efficiency performing of impact test according CHARPY or IZOD. Additional impact high speed tensile tests can be performed.

Because of its very stiff and low resonance body all dynamic resonances will be absorbed to perform test inside of standards like EN 10045, ASTM E23, ISO, DIN, EN, JIS and other standards.

The machines are optimised for an easy, quick and ergonomic using: After execution a test the pendulum hammer will be back in start position within 3 – 9 seconds (depending on the last performed test.

The best position for ergonomic use is to position the machine on a machine foundation built as a socket with a height of > 30 cm. Because of this ergonomic positioning and the rationally using it is possible to perform up to 240 impact tests per hour. Also cooled specimens can be positioned in very short time (< 5 Seconds) because of its big safety door.

Optional the machine will be delivered with a centring device: With this it is possible to position the specimen on the supports without using a pliers for centric inserting.

IMPACT 25 Joule

IMPACT 25 for energies (pendulum hammers) with 1 - 25 Joule

The impact tester IMPACT 25 is available for pendulum hammers with energies from 1 – 25 Joule. Is was designed to perform impact tests on Charpy or Izod specimens on plastic or other material

This modern machine is controlled by a micro processor (safety protection: interlock of the door, activating the brake). This microcontroller also supports the evaluation of the test according the different standards.

The IMPACT 25 is equipped with a calibration system that eliminates the loss of pendulum and air friction. All performed test can printed directly by using the parallel port for a standard printer. Optional we may offer archiving software for storing the results – interfaced by serial port.

The control electronic supports different function like:
for example: automatic stop of hammer in desired position (for next lifting) or behind the supports (not to hit the specimen again – analysing the specimen without additional hammer contact). The machine can also be delivered with instrumentation for dynamic tests.
