Tensile specimen blanking tools
All delivered punching tools are customised to the requirements of the
customers needs. All common specimen shapes are available according the
different standards ISO / ISO6892, ASTM, / JIS / GHOST …
If a
tensile specimen grinding machine PSM 2000 should be used the
parallel length between the heads (the fillet) should have a minimum
length of 60 mm to the radius

In standard (also when damaged zone from blanking will not be removed)
the specimens should be blanked with oversized specimen width (b). Later
on you will discover that it is a must to remove this. But when the
blanking tool does have a layout for indicated dimension in width you
don’t have enough width to remove this damaged area – you will be out of
indicated width of the standard.
The oversize of the specimen width is depending on the thickness of
material. There are some more details for the layout – please send an
inquiry for your needs.
For us it is standard to customise the
tools to your needs – also if you need (in the same tool / additional
tool) additional circular or square blank for hardness test or zinc
coating test
